Dears,

I have found in Pommern in Dorf Kienitz (Kinice) grave of murrded by Russian soldiers in 1945 one man:
Oberamtmann Urlich Thilo Carcig
*1886 / + 1945
this grave is near to Frosterei Kienitz/Kinice on the crossroad in forest.
Attached photo of his memory stone.
This is present in Polen near Soldin/Myslibórz.
Question : there is info. somewhere in Volksbund webside ?

do Volksbundu mozesz przekazywac informacje, po jakims czasie dostaniesz odpowiedz. Tam nie ma bazy poszukiwania.......

an den Volksbund kannst Du eine Information schicken, nach einiger Wartezeit bekommst Du eine Antwort. Da gibt es keine Suchfunktion.

ist denn sicher, dass der Oberamtsmann Carcig von den Russen ermordet wurde? Woher stammt diese Information? Und wer hat das Grab später angelegt?
Tote Zivilisten werdet ihr in der Datenbank des Volksbundes sicherlich nicht auffinden können, es sei denn, sie wurden auf einer Kriegsgräberstätte bestattet.

Is it sure that Oberamtsmann Carcig was killed by Russian Troops? Where did you get this information? Who layed out the grave after the occupation of this village?
Killed civilians couldn't be found in the Volksbund datebase. Only when they are buried at a proper registrated cemetery, eg. Volksbund cemeteries.

- Russian soldiers cought him on the crossroad (see picture) asked him show hands and after
decided : You was administration worker (looking on his hands) and killed him on place.

Where did you get this information?
- I heard this story from one man from this village.

Who layed out the grave after the occupation of this village?
- some German people lived till the end of II WW in May 1945 ( he was killed Feb.-March 1945)
As I heard some German people (maybe familly) visited this place.
I also heard that this man was very friendly for other people and they made for him grave.
