A question about Vermisstenbildliste

Searshing
Good day

I have a question about Vermisstenbildliste.
I just don't know which military units are included in Vermisstenbildliste.
Is there some information about missing persons of 292 infanterie-division(Infanterie-Regiment 507,
Infanterie-Regiment 508, Infanterie-Regiment 509, Artillerie-Regiment 292)?

Thanks In Advance,
Kate

Hello, Thor

A am in a really difficult situation, as I am looking for a person, but I don't know a lot about him.
I am looking for a Wehrmacht soldier, who had been missing in November 1941 near Moscow (in area of Naro-Fominsk)
He served in 4th army, most likely in 292id, as a rank-and-file soldier.
His name was Siegfried, and the worst thing is that his surname it is not known.
Age: 19.

I know so little information, that it's a hundred to one I won't be able to find anything.
It is almost impossible to know so little and find a man who has died 73 years ago.
However, I hope for Vermisstenbildliste. I know that the personal data of a soldier sometimes comes with a photo there.
The wanted person can be identified by a photo.

I understand that there is a giant information volume, but it was my one and only hope.

Yours faithfully
Kate

Chroniker
You have the first name and you have the unit.

Find out in which book (vermisstenbildliste) the unit is and by the book (ebay). Then you have approx. 900 pages and search each page for his first name.
