Cmentary in Szczecin (Stettin) - Oberleutnant Heinz Brundenburg

Kris
Hallo,

Today I just visited my town Stettin/Szczecin and Cmentary on the street Ku Sloncu. They are graves of my grandmother and grandfather. By the way I have found some German graves and one was very interested for me because there is monument for German soldier MIA in East.
Look:

Oberleutnant
Heinz Brundenburg
geb.: 19.02.1911
gef.: 13.01.1943
im Osten

He was 32 years old when died.

here there is at Szczecin his grave and his familly I think.
I can also add some more photos other graves - another famillies - but is it interested for You ?

Have you know where he was KIA ? Is it his own grave or only for memory about him ?

Best regards / Herzliche Grusse,

Kris

Hallo Kris,

his last name is "Brandenburg" not "Brundenburg".
I found him in the Volksbund Database:

Nachname: Brandenburg
Vorname: Heinz Fritz Ferdinand
Dienstgrad: Oberleutnant Geburtsdatum:
19.02.1911 Geburtsort:
Enkheim Todes-/Vermisstendatum: 13.01.1943
Todes-/Vermisstenort: Koschelewo

Heinz Fritz Ferdinand Brandenburg ist vermutlich als unbekannter Soldat auf die Kriegsgräberstätte Sebesh überführt worden.
Grablage: wahrscheinlich unter den Unbekannten

He is now on the Cemetary in Sebesh as an Unknown.

Greetings from Austria,
Patrick
